Change is inevitable.
Sometimes the people we love and the things we cherish fade as we enter a new stage of our lives.
It hurts sometimes. I don’t think anybody can get through it without an ache in the heart and a wound in the spirit.
This existential tragedy of life seems cruel as no one can be an exception, even nature itself.
However desperately an autumn leaf clings to summer’s green, it cannot keep its color from turning.
However fiercely a tide attempts to carve its own existence on a wet sand, the next wave just becomes its own eraser.
This is the reality of life, a contract we agreed upon before entering this world called earth.
So then how do we cope with it? How do we let go of the devastation as we watch everything we love disappear in existence?
First, we must accept this harsh reality and embrace the sadness of it, so we get to grief on the wonderfulness of the past and cement these beautiful holy moments.
And then, move on.
Because we all know resisting the changes is like casting a blame on seasons for their inconsistency.
There’s really no choice for us but to embrace the changes.
And trust that you are going to attract new people and things in your new life that continue to help you grow and become the person you are destined to be.
Also, never forget, those that are meant for you, will always be there for you, regardless of time or distance. For love doesn’t walk linear path but unfold itself like lotus flowers with countless pedals.
